Terry Hoskins - Chair
Terry Hoskins is a director of Approach Limited, a consultancy firm, and several other organisations. He works with all types of enterprises and delivers solutions that draw from the best available knowledge and technology, which does not involve excessive cost. Terry has a particular interest in helping people develop a tolerance for uncertainty, avoid its many and various disruptive effects, and benefit from the opportunities it brings.
Christine Watson - Treasurer
Christine is an experienced finance professional who has held leadership roles in both the private and public sector. A qualified accountant and certified CA ANZ mentor, she has proficiency in board reporting and governance. Outside of the finance discipline, Christine has developed expertise in business process improvement, organisation change and project management and the ability to translate strategy into tactical plans.
Talia Cohen - Board Member
Talia is a recent returning Kiwi residing on Auckland’s North Shore back close to family and the community she grew up in. She has over 10 years of governance and executive management experience in transport, infrastructure and urban development within the public sector abroad. This has meant working closely with parliament, government departments, S.O.E's, collaborated close partnerships with local government, including broad engagement and public consultation in conjunction with local authorities. Talia has a B.A in Philosophy, Political Studies and Economics (PPE) and an M.A in Public Policy from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Having completed management and leadership executive education at Harvard Business School, Talia is also a member of the NZ institute of Directors.
Kevin Brewer - Board Member
Kevin Brewer is principal of a private consulting practice providing corporate advice primarily to New Zealand based businesses. He has a background in merchant banking, mergers and acquisitions and corporate advisory with Bancorp and KPMG in New Zealand and Australia, as well as holding senior executive roles in Sky City Entertainment Group and Wendy’s New Zealand. Currently chair of the Anglican Trust for Women and Children and Palmers Garden Centre Group, together with advisory board positions and directorships in other private companies. He has previously held a number of board positions in various private, charitable and listed public entities. Kevin is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of Auckland.
